KONCEPT INTERCLUB    - September 11th 2010

We are hosting our next Interclub to fighters of  Thai Boxing , Kickboxing, boxing and Amateur MMA.

PURPOSE

Our aim is to focus on up and coming fighters if you are unsure if you want to fight or not this is the perfect opportunity for you.

RULES

There are no winners in the interclub but you will gain important experience in a safe environment on fighting in front of a crowd  with someone you don’t know.

THAI/KICK/BOXING

There will be 3 x 1.5 min rounds

70% power, fighters will be advised to power down or be more controlled if the referee decides 1 opponent is over powering his/her opponent too much.

MMA

1 x 5 min round

Once again 70% power, no head shots standing or on the ground.

Standing – leg kicks, body kicks, punches to the body only

Grounded – 1 up 1 down only – standing person can only kick legs or punch body. Grounded person can only kick standing persons legs.

No heel hooks or spine locks.

Submissions can be applied but there’s no winner so do not put on a submission with 100%  power.

Most importantly do not be a hero and try to hold on whist in a lock tap to avoid injury again its only an interclub!

£2 to Spectate

TIME

10am meeting in the gym to check everyone has a fight

11am Fights begin in the cage or boxing ring.

WELL DONE to Mat Dearing for winning his first semi pro mma fight on the 1st August

A brilliant fight night club fighters Akos Aladics,Marius Daublis,Rob France and myself fought on the card.

Akos,Rob and myself won Marius fought a hard fight but in the end his viral infection took the better of him causing him to slow down on his pace and ultimately giving his opponent the window to defeat him on points.
